Job Description

The Broadalbin-Perth Central School District is seeking candidates for a full-time technology education (woodshop) teacher position at the Broadalbin-Perth Jr./Sr. High School starting in September 2024.

B-P Jr./Sr. High School employs a dynamic and innovative faculty and is a place where teachers' ideas are valued and respected. With this newly added position, the district is seeking to expand opportunities for students to learn about the skilled trades; increase course offerings in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM); and expand the district's successful Project Lead the Way (PLTW) program.

This is a tenure-track position that includes benefits as defined in the Broadalbin-Perth Teachers' Association contract.

Job Qualifications

Candidates must hold a valid New York state teaching certification in technology education or be eligible for state certification prior to Sept. 1, 2024.
